Software Development Engineer
Softshare is looking for an accurate, team-oriented software engineer to join our in-house development team. The candidate should have experience in application development as well as web development and will be working on new and existing e-commerce integration products and services. The role requires at least 3+ years of Java and 2+ years C++ experience. Knowledge of Ajax, JavaScript, and DHTML web development languages and technologies is recommended, as well as Web Services programming technologies including XML, SOAP, WSDL, and XPath/XSLT. Knowledge of communication protocols including FTP, POP3, SMTP, and HTTP is also recommended. The ideal candidate will have database engineering skills including strong SQL, Microsoft SQL Server experience. Candidates must have good interpersonal skills in order to communicate with end users. System Administrator
Softshare is looking for a team-oriented system administrator to join our Information Technology Group (IT). The system administrator will be responsible for managing and monitoring computer network operations as well as software and hardware as used internally by Softshare staff. The system administrator will handle all problem resolution of local and wide area network hardware, software, and telecommunications services such as desktop and server computers, system software, software applications, printers, servers, routers, bridges, switches, modems, cabling, virtual private networks (VPNs) and Internet Service Providers (ISPs). Furthermore, the candidate will monitor and resolve interconnect communications issues with other Value Added Networks (VANs). Knowledge of communication protocols such as FTP, HTTP and EDIINT is also recommended. The ideal candidate will have strong database experience and must have good interpersonal skills in order to communicate with end users.
