Softshare Offers Run-Time Version of Softshare Delta for Reseller Bundling

New version of Softshare’s popular data translation and integration tool lets value-added resellers create low-cost, out-of-the-box mapping solutions for their clients

Santa Barbara, CA.— September 21, 2001 — Softshare Incorporated, a leading provider of e-commerce software and services, today announced the release of a run-time version of Softshare Delta, its popular data translation and integration solution, which includes EDI, XML, flat file, and database translation capabilities.

Softshare Delta Run-Time allows Softshare’s value-added resellers (VARs) to offer customized, out-of-the-box translation solutions to their clients without requiring that a full version of Softshare Delta be installed at each client site. While Delta Run-Time incorporates the same powerful map execution capabilities included in other versions of Softshare Delta, it cannot be used to create new translation maps or edit existing ones at the site where it is installed. Rather, it is intended to run translation maps developed by a Softshare VAR using the Enterprise version of Delta, and, thus, is ideal for creating bundled translation solutions.

Since Delta Run-Time does not include the user interface components or map management capabilities of other Softshare Delta versions, it is available to VAR clients at a reduced cost. Delta Run-Time pricing is tailored according to the number of maps used by each installing client; thus, a client who requires one translation map will pay a lower price than a client who requires several.
