For Softshare Clients, EDI Integration with Oracle Just Got Easier

Santa Barbara, US / Amsterdam, NL.—January 29, 2008—Softshare, a provider of e-commerce products and services since 1982, released today its Integration Bridge for Oracle. As an add-on component for Softshare Delta, Softshare's universal data translator, this bridge significantly reduces the amount of time it takes to set up and maintain an EDI integration solution with the popular Oracle ERP application.

The Integration Bridge for Oracle offers several advantages. It retrieves Oracle Interface Files or .XGD files and instantly models them, down to the last detail, in Softshare Delta. Because these standardized Oracle file formats are extremely large and designed as reports rather than documents, the ability to instantly model them provides significant time savings. The Oracle bridge also installs with four sample maps that illustrate two common EDI business scenarios.

The Integration Bridge for Oracle is part of Softshare's new Bridge the Gap suite of ERP application bridges. In addition to Oracle, this suite of Delta add-on components also features bridges for SAP and Epicor Vantage.
