Softshare Releases New Version of Softshare EDI Notepad

Santa Barbara, US / Amsterdam, NL.—October 21, 2008—Softshare, a provider of e-commerce products and services since 1982, announced today the immediate availability of Softshare EDI Notepad 5.1. Because the application has become an indispensable part of everyday EDI operations for so many of its users, EDI Notepad 5.1 has several new features designed to more efficiently handle the large number of documents being rendered in its interface.

For those users comfortable with free-form editing of EDI, EDI Notepad now supports this for a quicker editing experience, while users who prefer the structure of EDI Notepad's tab-based editing may continue using this traditional editing format. Other new features of 5.1 make it easier for users to manipulate large EDI files, including the ability to print, copy/paste, find, and delete multiple transactions at once.
