Softshare unveils next generation of e-commerce integration software at U Connect 09

With the upcoming release of Softshare Delta 5.0 and Softshare ECS 6.0, Softshare is poised to enter the middleware market

Santa Barbara, CA—June 2, 2009—Softshare will unveil the newest versions of its data translator and e-commerce communications server applications today at the U Connect 09 supply chain conference in Orlando, Florida. Due out this summer and currently in beta testing, Softshare Delta 5.0 and Softshare ECS 6.0 represent significant generational leaps for Softshare's flagship e-commerce integration products.

In development for several years, the new versions of Delta and ECS not only provide a multitude of new features, but also new uses within the enterprise. Whereas prior versions of Delta and ECS revolved closely around the integration of e-commerce documents (notably EDI), Delta 5.0 and ECS 6.0, when used in conjunction with one another, also become a complete middleware solution. The applications' role as middleware comes from added failover and scale-out capabilities, as well as extensive solution management capabilities that allow users to manage, deploy, and roll back mapping solutions across multiple ECS environments.

"We've taken a serious look at what people want in the EAI market and improved upon the products' flexibility, visibility, and accountability," said Robert Fox, lead programmer at Softshare. "By focusing on these attributes, we've produced products that are not just evolutionary, but revolutionary for Softshare."
