There are many great reasons why you should upgrade your current version of Softshare Delta to Delta 5.0: its map development interface is much more flexible, its in-map processing capabilities are greatly expanded, and its debugging tools have never been better.
But if we had to pick just one reason why you should take a look at the latest version of Delta Enterprise, the choice is clear; we’d pick Solution Manager. Solution Manager is a brand new component of Delta 5.0 (the Enterprise edition only) that centrally manages your maps and their associated resources within the Softshare ECS database. For example, a typical solution could consist of a map, its source and target models, any code tables or data links used by the map, as well as the trading partners assigned to it. Delta maps have always had associated resources that they’re dependent upon, but the ability to view, manage, and deploy these resources from a centralized repository is a significant enhancement to the product. With Solution Manager, you have complete source control of a solution throughout its entire life cycle—from development to testing to deployment.
