Who knew Softshare’s little EDI utility would find its way to Iceland? Or Tunisia? Ecuador even. Apparently, a good EDI editor knows no geographical boundaries because, since Softshare made Softshare EDI Notepad available as a free download from our Web site, more than 20,000 people around the world have put this intuitive EDI editing tool to work for them. In just two years, EDI Notepad went from a little-known utility that we distributed exclusively with our software to a respected EDI tool used all over the world.
Of course, our clients have known about EDI Notepad since the late ‘90s. And for those of you who have used EDI Notepad before, you know that it is a flexible EDI editor, featuring several viewing modes, syntax validation, EDI edit tools, document delivery capabilities, and even automated functional acknowledgment generation.
If you have not discovered EDI Notepad yet and are a Vista, Delta, or ECS user, you can open EDI Notepad from the program group of your Softshare application.
If you are an Athena user, there’s no time like the present to download it—especially now that Athena 2.0 supports EDI exporting!
Softshare is well on its way to meeting our goal of making EDI Notepad the standard application for viewing and editing EDI. But we appreciate all the word of mouth we can get.
